Had one of the famous scones. It was nice as it had been toasted.

Incredibly good coffee, I ordered an XL and at another places they're often a bit grim but theirs was perfect temp, texture and flavour. I wasn't even intending to buy food but the cabinet looked so good I left with some firecrackers and a cookie slice. I love the firecrackers! They use their own house made chilli sauce so sausage and pastry turns into something even more delicious than pastry and sausage usually is! Based on their cabinet food I'll have to go back for their premade meals which look to be high quality and decent serving sizes. Make sure to check out the neat 3D printed art, jewelery, games and kitchen things for sale too. I regret not taking home a dinosaur. Really lovely vibes from the staff and location.

Great little pit stop along the Northern Walkway. Service with a smile and a great selection of delicious cakes and savoury foods. A welcome stop here provided the boost needed to walk up Weld St / Te Ahumairangi Hill.

I tried the legendary cheese scone partnered with an Americano. The scone was toasted with a dab of butter on the side. Defo did the trick. The scone was fresh, cheesy, warm, crispy from the toasting and had a lovely gluten chewy bite. Coffee was great. Will be back!
